Chicago Midway Airport Ground Transportation

Introduction

Chicago Midway Airport is served directly by rail, taxi, shared-ride van, bus, and shuttle.

Train Services

Midway Airport is connected to downtown Chicago by the CTA Orange Line. Tickets can be purchased at the Midway Orange Line station, which is conveniently located near the airport right across Cicero Avenue. The Orange Line makes stops throughout southwest Chicago and travels right into The Loop. For further information, call: +1 312 836 7000.

Taxi and Shared-ride Van Services

Taxis are available on a first come, first served basis. Shared-ride vehicles are also available for travelers. All taxi rides are metered except for rides to downtown Chicago, which are a flat rate.

Bus and Shuttle Services

Located in front of the main terminal building, the bus / shuttle center is the primary pickup area for parking shuttles. These shuttles run 24 hours a day.

Continental Airport Express shuttles leave Midway every 15 minutes and operate between 6:00 am and 11:30 pm. Travelers are picked up in front of the main terminal building. Continental Airport Express also offers shuttles to northern suburban locations.

Omega Airport Shuttle is convenient and inexpensive for traveling between Midway and O'Hare International Airports. Shuttles leave Chicago Midway Airport every hour between 7:00 am and 10:00 pm and travel to O'Hare International Airport. Travelers are picked up at door M1 at Chicago Midway Airport.
