Documentary requirements for travelers entering the US
There are different processes for recovering any lost items, depending on where they were lost.
For items lost near ticket counters, in gate areas, or on an airplane, contact your airline; for those lost in public areas of the terminal, contact the Chicago Police at (773) 838-3003; for items lost at security checkpoints, contact TSA at (773) 498-1308 and for things lost in the parking facilities contact Standard Parking at (773) 686-7532.
